Perumal Development Pte. Ltd is a subsidiary of Low Keng Huat (Singapore) Ltd. LKHS began their journey in 1969. Started out with an initial capital outlay of $150,000, LKHS venture into building construction company. Today LKHS is a diversified group with 33 subsidiaries and 12 associated companies involved in three core activities – construction and civil engineering , property development, and property investment. LKHS has been ranked  and recognized as the top local constriction company by the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) in capital deployment in 1990.

LKHS has contributed to the transformation of Singapore’s skyline. Some of the well-known landmarks are 52-storey OCBC Centre (1976); tallest building in Singapore; TAS Comcentre (1976); 30-storey UOB Headquarters (1974) and Plaza Singapura (1974).
